Are There Different Types of Techniques

There are over eighty types of massage therapy.  Examples include Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point massage. Our clinic works in collaboration with specialists, family physicians, chiropractors, physiotherapists and acupuncturists. Our goal is to establish a treatment plan that best suits your needs and complements your health care protocol.

Are Medical Conditions of Concern?

Prior to the beginning of your first session, our practitioners will ask general health questions. It is

important that you inform the practitioner of any health problems or medications being taken.


Is Massage Therapy Regulated?

The practice of massage therapy is regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act. Only an individual who has completed the requisite training and has met the qualifications of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario can call him or herself a "Registered Massage Therapist.'
